Hearts of Love Kids Visit UK

Recently we had the opportunity to take ten children (six boys and four girls) from the Hearts of Love Centre had the chance of a lifetime to travel to the United Kingdom. Hearts of Love is a long-time Mercy Projects supported special needs centre in Konotop, Ukraine that was founded by our friend Lena. Read more about the work at Hearts of Love.

The four-week break has been sponsored by the Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline and has paid for the children’s trip to Chester, England. Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline’s aim is to help the children recuperate from the effects of Chernobyl nuclear disaster of 1986.

Our very own Peter Wooding explains that the kids have been given free dental treatment, free advice at the opticians, visits to Chester Zoo, Chester soccer club tickets, ice-skating, tour of Liverpool, and a craft day at Northgate Church.

You can help continue the work with these special needs kids today! We love these kids and are grateful for any amount of support.
